Prior to joining the Centre, Patrick served as Assistant Professor of Management at the Grossman School of Business, University of Vermont, USA. He worked previously as a Postdoctoral Research Fellow in the Australian National University where he also earned his PhD in Organizational Behaviour. His research focuses on the antecedents, mechanisms, and consequences of workplace aggression as well as the role of socio-cognitive factors in career development. Patrick’s interest in the impact of workplace aggression on employee well-being stems from his background in clinical psychology. He obtained his Bachelor’s degree in Psychology at De La Salle University – Manila where he graduated Cum Laude. Patrick completed his PhD degree in 2012. Since then, he has published a total of 17 peer-reviewed papers in top-tier management journals, including articles in such outlets as the Journal of Applied Psychology (FT45), Leadership Quarterly, Human Resource Management (FT45), and the Journal of Vocational Behavior.
